By engaging Down & Dirty Power Washing, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Chad Ellis ("Business," "we," "us," or "our") for services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.

Down & Dirty Power Washing provides professional pressure washing and exterior cleaning services including, but not limited to:

  • Driveway and concrete pressure washing
  • House and siding washing
  • Roof cleaning and soft washing
  • Fence washing
  • Pool enclosure cleaning
  • Solar panel cleaning
  • Deck and patio washing

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Down & Dirty Power Washing, you agree to the following:

  • You consent to receive SMS/text messages from Down & Dirty Power Washing regarding appointment confirmations, scheduling reminders, service updates, and promotional offers
  • Message frequency varies based on your interactions with our business
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message

Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are estimates based on information provided and visual inspection
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
  • Final pricing may be adjusted if conditions differ significantly from the initial assessment
  • Additional services beyond the original scope will be quoted separately
  • We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion

Scheduling and Cancellation

Scheduling

  • Appointments are scheduled based on availability
  • We will provide a service window and contact you via phone, text, or email if any changes are needed
  • Weather conditions may affect scheduling; we will reschedule at no charge if weather prevents service

Cancellation Policy

  • Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
  • Same-day cancellations without valid reason may be subject to a cancellation fee
  • No-shows may be charged a fee equal to 50% of the quoted service price

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
  • Large commercial projects may require a deposit
  • Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month
  • Returned checks will incur a $35 fee

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure effective service, customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property and services needed
  • Ensure access to the work area and a functioning outdoor water source
  • Remove or secure loose items, outdoor furniture, and decorations from work areas
  • Close all windows and doors before service begins
  • Secure pets during the service
  • Inform us of any existing damage, loose siding, or other conditions
  • Inform us of any recent painting, staining, or repairs

Limitation of Liability

While we take great care in performing our services:

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, loose materials, or items not disclosed before service
  • Some stains may not be completely removable despite best efforts
  • Old paint, sealers, or coatings may come off during cleaning; we are not responsible for such removal
  • We are not responsible for damage to items left in work areas
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided

Insurance

Down & Dirty Power Washing maintains general liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request. Our insurance covers accidental damage caused by our negligence during the performance of services.

Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion. We will return to address any areas of concern at no additional charge. This guarantee applies to quality of work and does not cover pre-existing conditions or stains that cannot be removed.

Photos and Testimonials

We may take before and after photos of our work for quality assurance and marketing purposes. By using our services, you consent to the use of photos of your property (exterior only) in our marketing materials, website, and social media. If you prefer your property not be photographed or used for marketing, please inform us in writing before service begins.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Alachua County, Florida.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
